It's gorgeous. Congratulations. I adore quilts. As a wedding present 10 years ago, my mother gave us a quilt that was started by my great-grandmother, continued by my grandmother, and finished by my mother, and then given to me – a four-generation quilt.

Beautiful!  Well done.  I had a wedding ring quilt once, bought
at a show.  They are made with lots of love; all of them.

Hi everyone! Thanks for taking the time to stop by. Sorry I've not responded sooner. I appreciate all your kind words.

The quilt was made with a friend and her mother for another friend's graduation gift. It was a fun and wonderful experience. I have a fonder appreciation for the quiltting bees that took place in the past. There is a sense of community in making quilts. Perhaps our society today could learn something from the quiltting bees of the past.
